Description
Structure implements a model-based clustering method for inferring population structure using genotype data consisting of unlinked markers
You will have to provide the mainparams and extraparams files in a working directory from which you run the software. Sample files are located in $HPC_STRUCTURE_CONF directory.
Execution Environment and Modules
To use structure with the environment modules system at HPC the following commands are available:
Get module information for structure:
$module spider structure
Load the default application module:
$module load structure
The modulefile for this software adds the directory with executable files to the shell execution PATH and sets the following environment variables:
- HPC_STRUCTURE_DIR - directory where structure is located.
- HPC_STRUCTURE_BIN - executable directory
- HPC_STRUCTURE_DOC - documentation directory
- HPC_STRUCTURE_CONF - directory with sample configuration files
