Description
Mistral AI is a research laboratory that develops leading open-source models and provides La Plateforme for developers to create new applications using their open source and commercial Large Language Models (LLMs). They have released several models including the Mistral 7b in September 2023, Mixtral 8x7b in December 2023, and Mixtral 8x22b in April 2024. Their commercial lineup includes the low-latency Mistral Small, the soon-to-be-deprecated Mistral Medium for moderate tasks, the complex-task-oriented Mistral Large, and Mistral Embeddings for text representation. Mistral AI continually updates and improves these commercial models to enhance performance and capabilities.
