Quantum GIS is an open source Geographic Information System that supports most geospatial vector and raster file types and database formats.

Environment Modules

Run module spider qgis to find out what environment modules are available for this application.

Basic usage:

module load gui
launch_gui_session -e qgis

Connect with xpra locally using the xpra command

xpra attach ssh:jdoe@i111a-s222.rc.ufl.edu:3713
