Description

maxima website  

Maxima is a computer algebra system comparable to commercial systems like Mathematica and Maple. It emphasizes symbolic mathematical computation: algebra, trigonometry, calculus, and much more.

Environment Modules

Run module spider maxima to find out what environment modules are available for this application.

System Variables

  • HPC_MAXIMA_DIR - installation directory
  • HPC_MAXIMA_BIN - executable directory
