Database Hosting

If a group doing work on HiPerGator needs to develop and use custom relational or document (nosql) databases on HiPerGator the group can purchase Database Service Unit(s) (DBUs). A DBU allows storing up to 1TB of data on our database servers. In conjunction or even before purchasing a DBU submit a [Support Request] to start the conversation and to have a record of the setup or contact us via Slack or Email. We will work with you to set up databases and authentication schemas for your group to develop and use a custom relational database for your analyses. Those databases are retained for the duration of the investment and removed only after a series of reminders to renew an investment.
