Description
BFAST facilitates the fast and accurate mapping of short reads to reference sequences, where mapping billions of short reads with variants is of utmost importance.
Execution Environment and Modules
To use bfast with the environment modules system at HPC the following commands are available:
Get module information for bfast:
$module spider bfast
Load the default application module:
$module load bfast
The modulefile for this software adds the directory with executable files to the shell execution PATH and sets the following environment variables:
- HPC_BFAST_DIR - directory where bfast is located.
- HPC_BFAST_BIN - executable directory
- HPC_BFAST_DOC - documentation directory
