Description
cutadapt removes adapter sequences from high-throughput sequencing data. This is usually necessary when the read length of the sequencing machine is longer than the molecule that is sequenced, for example when sequencing microRNAs. Template:App Location
Available versions

Running the application using modules
To use cutadapt with the environment modules system at HPC the following commands are available:
Get module information for cutadapt:
$module spider cutadapt
Load the default application module:
$module load cutadapt
The modulefile for this software adds the directory with executable files to the shell execution PATH and sets the following environment variables:
- HPC_CUTADAPT_DIR - directory where cutadapt is located.
- HPC_CUTADAPT_BIN - executable directory
