Description
The FASTX-Toolkit is a collection of command line tools for Short-Reads FASTA/FASTQ files preprocessing.

Execution Environment and Modules
To use fastx_toolkit with the environment modules system at HPC the following commands are available:
Get module information for fastx toolkit:
$module spider fastx_toolkit
Load the default application module:
$module load fastx_toolkit
The modulefile for this software adds the directory with executable files to the shell execution PATH and sets the following environment variables:
- HPC_FASTX_TOOLKIT_DIR - directory where fastx_toolkit is located.
- HPC_FASTX_TOOLKIT_BIN - executable directory
