Compilers Available on HiPergator

There are two compiler suites provided on hipergator. And other related apps seen below.

• INTEL Compiler Suite
• GNU Compiler Collection
• NVIDIA Compiler

INTEL Compiler Suite Usage

The Intel Compiler Suite provides Fortran and C/C++ compilers and is preferred compiler option on hipergator.

Required Modules

• intel

When loading module "intel", it automatically loads module "mkl", a highly optimized Intel Math Kernel Library (Intel MKL).

GNU Compiler Collection

The GNU Compiler Suite provides Fortran and C/C++ compilers.

Required Modules

• gcc

The cuda module provides NVCC compiler.
