Description
GeneTorrent client for downloading BAMs from the CGHub repository.
Software documentation in PDF format.
Use 'man genetorrent' or 'man cgquery' commands to view the software man pages on the command line.
Environment Modules
Run module spider genetorrent to find out what environment modules are available for this application.
System Variables
- HPC_GENETORRENT_DIR - installation directory
Additional Information
As GeneTorrent is capable of putting a significant load on a machine and generating a large amount of network traffic please limit its use to the dev nodes and batch jobs. Do not run gtdownload on the gator nodes.
