Py4AI Workshop Series (May 18th – June 22nd)

If you are currently conducting a research project or contemplating an AI research project on HiperGator, this seminar series is for you! Unlike a traditional for-credit class, you take full control of your Python learning in this seminar series. You will start by creating and then executing a custom learning plan, tailored to your background, schedule, and research interests. Select from multiple Python learning modules, including some which feature the latest Nvidia technology. But have no fear! You are not alone on this learning journey but will benefit from the mentorship of a knowledgeable (accessible) instructor as well as the camaraderie of fellow researchers.

  • You will devote a couple hours each week to asynchronous learning activities, with at least one weekly check-in required.
  • The instructor will offer weekly office hours as well as individual consultations.
  • This cohort is limited to 25 students so sign up today

Profiling and Optimizing Deep Neural Networks with DLProf: Tuesday, May 18 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Software profiling is key to achieve the best performance on a system. It is important to understand CPU, GPU, and memory bottlenecks of your deep learning application executions, which could slow down the training or inference. Nvidia Deep Learning Profiler (DLProf) is a tool for profiling deep learning models to help researchers understand and improve performance of the models.
