Information
Gaussian is a licensed program. The license held by UF HPC is limited to the UF HPC operated computers at the University of Florida.
In order to use Gaussian at the Research Computing, users must fill out and sign a license agreement first.
The license may be signed by contacting the Research Computing, and we can setup an appointment for you to come in and sign the appropriate forms.
Restrictions
In signing the Gaussian license, you are agreeing to the following:
- I am not a member of a research group developing software competitive to Gaussian.
- I will stop using Gaussian on UF HPC systems immediately and will notify the Research Computing if there is a change in my situation that would bring into question my status with respect to the above.
- I will not copy the Gaussian software, nor make it available to anyone else.
- I will properly acknowledge Gaussian Inc. in published works to which Gaussian calculations on the WestGrid systems contributed.
(See Gaussian Citation for details.)
